Simon Tse studied music at Wilfrid Laurier University as a vocal major under Kimberly Barber and graduated from the Bachelor of Education at WLU as a music teacher. He is the vocal director for KW Glee Juniors, and currently teaches for WRDSB.
He has played classical piano since he was six and is an expert in vocal pop music.
His roles in recent productions are: Ensemble in Messenger of Fate in Willy Russell’s Blood Brothers – Singer’s Theatre, Paul Gordon’s Jane Eyre – Singer’s Theatre, Don Curzio in Mozart’s Le Nozze Di Figaro – Opera Nuova, and with Opera Laurier – Tamino from Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte, Henrik from Sondheim’s A Little Night Music, and First Commissary from Poulenc’s Dialogue of the Carmelites.
Outside of teaching, he finds time to study modern dance and perform in the KW, Guelph, and GTA communities.
